Hani Farrukh is a Muslim American storyboard artist based in the Bay Area. He has worked on multiple short films for the Pixar Co-op program, contributed storyboards to a Qatar Airways commercial for a freelance director, and created a test storyboard for the feature Mustache, directed by Imran J. Khan and produced by a producer of EIGHTH GRADE and THE BEAR.
Hani is directing and producing his own short film, Shoot for the Moon, a story about dreams and ambition that explores themes of diversity and inclusion and aims to inspire those who keep pushing forward despite setbacks, uncertainty, and obstacles. As both a filmmaker and storyteller, Hani reflects that same journey in his work and continues to shoot for the moon. And now He is pursuing his new goal in building his independent animation studio, FinjaAnimation.
